Anne Sturtevant is an author of horror and urban fantasy short stories and novels. She was born and raised in a small town in Arkansas. After moving around the region for several years, she settled back in the state of her birth, making her home in the Ozark mountains of northwest Arkansas.

Anne has published one book under the name Heather Stuyvesant with her co-author Rikke Peterson (writing as Idun Mars). Kryos is no longer available. They plan to rework the story and re-issue it at at later date. Thank you to those who read it, and hopefully more of you will get a chance once we improve it. It just was not quiet ready for Prime Time.

She is currently working on a couple of project on her own and another project with Rikke Petersen. Updates and samples from Phantasms with Rikke can be found on this blog and at TheHorribleWolf.

Anne loves everything strange, creepy, or weird, and spends time looking for haunted locations near her. Sadly , despite many trips, the Crescent Hotel has failed to show her any ghosts. However, she remains hopeful, since the Ghost Hunters found some great things there. Check out the blog for adventures past and planned in search of the strange and scary.

She knew she wanted to be a writer from an early age, but after reading Interview With the Vampire by Anne Rice, she knew she would be a horror writer. Some of her favorite authors are not only Rice, but Stephen King, Sara Monette, Dean Koontz, and any number of others.
